friday - doctors day
Today was the day I had an appointment with my heart doctor in the morning and then the cancer doctor right after that. Everything is good. The cancer doctor asked if I had any new arthralgia and myalgia. I asked, what's that? Just aches and pains. She said the one med (to cut down on female hormones) I take to discourage future breast cancer has that as a side effect. So maybe that would explain some of these body aches I have. I don't want to quit taking it though. It's annoying yes, but it is something I can and will live with. That back ache that I had last week is gone now, which is good - maybe that had something to do with that med. When I got out of the cancer center I smelled lunch in the hospital cafeteria and it smelled good so I walked over there and got myself a meal of baked cod, mac and cheese and stewed tomatoes. It was pretty good (okay, maybe the fish was overcooked) and as I ate I looked out on the snowy courtyard:
If it had been summer or nicer weather I would have definitely eaten outside. I like this little courtyard. I wonder what happens in the winter to the goldfish that were living in those pools last summer.
