I haven't voted yet but I will. Jules asked me if I wanted to go with him when he gets off work and I said I would. I went with Dave this morning when we went to town shopping and sat in the car while he voted. In the parking lot I tried to guess who was a republican and who was a democrat when they got in or out of their cars from the kind of vehicle they were in or their looks.

My ukulele arrived and I immediately broke a string while tuning it. I have no idea what I am doing. I guess with the little electronic tuner I was trying to get the string a whole octave higher than it should have been. But now, after replacing the string (thank goodness it came with spare strings) I know a bit more about it's workings. I was very proud of myself that I replaced the string (with youtube's help) and got it tuned properly - My Dog Has Fleas. Yay. Now I can practice chords.

I have so much to do around here! I have let things go terribly. Clothes to fold and the dining table to declutter, plus other stuff I want to organize and redo. Sebby is supposed to come over later this evening and do the sweeping and vacuuming and clean the bathroom for me (he's my paid house cleaner) but there is still a lot to do besides what he does. I have so much I WANT to do but won't allow myself till I get caught up with this crap. Playing shuffled music in the background helps though.
