headache and giveaways

Got a bad headache during the night - behind my eyes. Usually I think that means I am coming off of caffeine so this morning when I got up I was looking forward to my tea making the headache disappear. It didn't. It seemed to move into my cheek, the skin around my left eye and my scalp on the left side. A tingling pain - a touchiness. I looked up "headache" in my journal here and see I had something very similar happen on May 15th of last year. It lasted 3 days. I think am getting stressed by the radiation finally. Maybe this is one of my "traveling pain" types of reactions. After I started what they called the "light" treatments (the ones using electrons) my breast has gotten very painful. Anything touching it, even lightly, or not touching (being open to the air) is very painful. The only thing that seems to help is holding it and pressing it close to me firmly - make that area be very still. I really don't want to complain. I don't! But I need to chronicle this stuff and this is where I do that. Very discouraged right now. Three more treatments.

I just this afternoon finished the 200th angel bell. That is all I am going to make - that should make my giveaway box last a couple weeks after I am gone. On the subject of giveaways - there are all kinds of giveaway boxes and shelves in the cancer department now. Last time I was there I noticed a shelving unit stuffed full of colorful afghans and lap robes (take one - free for cancer patients) and a big box of handmade pillows shaped like hearts.

A painted rock found on a bench outside the hospital:

headache, the traveling pain, angel bells, complaining, hopeless, pain, radiation therapy, hopeful things
