wish i had a picture
Something happened really cute today. I was sitting with the chicks in the bathroom this afternoon and had 3 of them on my lap when out in the living room Andy must have seen something alarming and started a bunch of loud barking. One of the chicks dived back into the box; Wings stood her ground and didn't go anywhere, but the other chick (Rossy's chick, named Summer) tried her best to climb into the neck of my shirt. Pushing and pushing her way in till she got her head buried like an ostrich in there. I called Dave to see and she was still hiding her head for about a minute. Should have told him to bring a camera.
Jules took me to lunch at the Chinese buffet (Mother's Day) today and we discussed a fun idea - he and his kids and me all taking a trip to Florida this fall. Many years in the springtime I go to see my sister earthmother45 in Florida but that plan was ruined this year because of cancer. I figure I will be able to travel by the fall though.
Slept a lot today - from 3 pm till 7 - making up for the sleep I lost last night. I hope I can sleep tonight...
