I've had a couple busy days - Friday we went to the funeral for Char's husband Jim, and then to the lunch afterwards - held at the Amazing Foods restaurant. Those days might have been sad but also, celebrating someone's life can draw people together. As my Soul Sister, who brought together Gyro's Life Celebration said, some people would find out all sorts of things they didn't know about him. And saw photos pf him as a child and young man before he came to Australia and also places of significance for him back in England. At Seedling Lady's celebration of her life it was beautiful how people, seated at tables in roughly a circle, just piped up and talked about their experiences with her and it was like a lovely, relaxed conversation. That was pretty incredible to find a man who had had a lot of the same life experiences as you. So long as you think Dave's brother would have liked the gathering, you can't ask for more than that ( ... )
