ha - jinxed?
We rushed out so quickly for the bike ride that we forgot our helmets - which worried me after I noticed it but it was too late to turn back. And I forgot to take off the bike bar off my bike (it helps to hold a women's bike on a bike rack). Didn't even notice it was there cause I usually mount from the side. When we got to our destination (the little bridge about a mile away) I went to dismount and my crotch came down on the bike bar, I fell over and my thumb got pinched (and sliced) by the bridge guardrail.
Anyway - it bled quite freely for a while but it's stopped now. Don't think I will need stitches. Rossy thought the blood looked really cool where it fell on my bike bag as I was getting out the first aid stuff.
So - now on to the next phase of Memorial Day. Rossy has gone off with his dad to see a movie and now Gabe wants to take a walk. We are going to walk in Franklin Cemetery and leave Forest Bells in the trees and bushes.
