I did do my 7-7-1-1 but only in my paper journal tonight. We were watching our latest episode of Hannibal when Dave's old friend Paul called so I have been passing time since then interneting till he gets off the phone.
It's got hot again around here. I might need to find a way to wear my hair up off my neck to get through the summer.
The "mothballs under the patio" plan to deter the groundhog backfired. It has made the whole house stink. Unknown to me there is a movement of air into the basement from there. The mothballs were in a mesh bag but somehow it got opened and left some behind under there after I pulled the bag out. The kids walk in the door and want to know why the house smells like old people.
Was walking with Candy on Oak Hill this morning when we saw a turkey. Also saw a splat of blood on a leaf with a strange little tube that might have been a body part from a killed animal. Dave suggested it might have been a windpipe. Maybe it was. Or part of an intestine. No other sign of a body around or feathers or fur. Yuck. And creepy.
I put a second coat of matte medium on 20 sheets of handmade paper today. It needs that to keep all the flowers, leaves and threads that I use attached. Tomorrow I will iron the paper again and then I can show it to the customer so she can choose her favorite for the covers of the wedding book. I will have lots of paper left over for other things after that too.
