Damn
Heard last night that a friend of ours lost his battle with cancer yesterday morning, leaving behind a wife and 2 young daughters. *sigh* So sad. He was about 4 months younger than me (42). Way too young to die. Next Wednesday is the 19th anniversary of my mother's death. She was 52, and I thought that was too young. What's really depressing is that they are delaying the funeral until Tuesday, since Monday is his youngest daughter's birthday (8, I think). That's not going to scar her or anything.
Why can't we transfer bad shit like this to people who really deserve it? Like Sarah Palin, or that atrocious Rebecca Black? The world would be a better place, I'll tell you that.
Enjoy every day people, for it can all end far too soon. And I really believe this life is all you get, so make the best of it. Now, go hug someone you love.
