You might want to observe the metaphor...
I noticed that I get really intense about cutting my nails. The same pressure that the clippers apply to my fingers, I'm sure is duplicated by my tightened jaw.
And now for a parable:
There was a town, where everyone wanted to be mayor, so they all applied to the governor. The governor chose 1 mayor, who was paid, and whose wealth enriched the parts of the town that catered to the wealthy.
In another town, a similair situation occurred, except the governor decided instead of a mayor to form a town council, of which the members would be paid a portion of what would have been the mayor's salary. All the applicants benefitted, and as they were not wealthy, their money benefitted the entire town.
