blah (i wonder how many times that has been my subject since i started this journal?)
went out tonight to return/exchange/whatever the cd thing i bought last week... i didnt think they would take it back but my parents assured me that they would, and they were right :) my dad also said that if they wouldnt take it back, that we would just leave it there and walk away. that would've been amusing... i was actually kind of hoping it would happen just so i could see him do that. anyway. i got a new one made by the same company. i think/hope it will be a bit sturdier... and it also holds more cds.. score ;) hmm i just went to bestbuy.com to find a picture of it, and lo and behold, i cant find it there.... hmm. and yet i see all the other ones i looked at. straaange. anyway it holds 322 cds/180 dvds/85 videos or some combination thereof. i shall try to put it together soon... better be more reliable than the last one... grr. i do not enjoy having cds scattered all over my floor.
what else... i didnt do much today... got up really late... whoops. got a turkey sandwich from Wawa for lunch (around 1-1:30 :P)... went to the gym around 4 (also yesterday i went running at 7am before going to the school.. good times). very boring day, pretty much. maybe i'll watch tv again tonight. its so weird, i have a relatively nice tv and i never watch it. watching Bridget Jones last night was the first time i watched in awhile.... go figure. i should pick up on my book again. i started this new one back in London and read quite a lot of it on the planeride back... have picked it up occasionally since then but i only read a couple pages each time and then dont read it for awhile. i'm so weird that way.. grr. and i have so many books here that i could/should read. i'll get on that. and i guess that's all for now.

p.s.- oh yeah. now begins my self-education in classic rock. i consider myself quite well-versed in my knowledge of current singer-songwriters, however there are a number of classic rock bands that i know i should know many songs by, yet i dont. so i am enlisting the help of my friend Kazaa in educating myself in all this good stuff i should know about. any suggestions of particular songs you think i should check out, feel free to let me know. last week i got a few songs by The Cure, cause i know that Charlotte Martin likes them a lot and i was just curious. i do happen to know a lot of Beatles stuff, so i'm safe there. currently getting stuff by Pink Floyd and The Who. woohoo this will be fun (and ongoing). so yes, feel free to suggest things to me.
