there were just about 10 or so deer right outside the house (big surprise). i had nothing to do so i decided to go snag the telephoto lens and snap off some shots. i love how i got this lens in Christmas '06 and the only things i've really used it for are to take photos of deer outside the house, and then, another time, a cicada that somehow managed to find it's way into the house and up almost to the ceiling. i wish i could find more regular/everyday uses for this lens. i just need to see some more interesting places in the world.
this is really bad & out of focus but i think it's kinda funny. i was slowwwwwly creeping out from behind the window and kept hitting autofocus, thinking i'd only have a second to get a shot before they saw me and ran away. turns out they hung out for awhile. this wouldve been so great if this lens didnt take forever and hunt around to find the AF points. ah well

this one kinda scared me for some reason. i think its cause its fur somehow looks more dog-like? i dont know
