(no subject)
well since i last typed anything, i've been home & back again. the reason i went home was to get my passport, since i am leaving for Paris in 9 days... woohoo! but it does kinda suck because that means i won't be home for Thanksgiving. oh well, it's not as bad as being away for Xmas. it was good though, cause my mom made a really great dinner of roast chicken & mashed potatoes (plus we got this realllllly good French bread from ShopRite earlier... mmm). so that was kind of like a mock-Thanksgiving, if you will.
what else did i do while home... hmm... well i went to the gym 2x, so that was good. i've been trying to get to the gym &/or go jogging as often as possible lately... woohoo. umm yeah... i guess i didnt really do a whole lot... though last night i actually watched this MaryKate & Ashley movie on tv that my sister wanted me to tape, and it actually wasn't half bad... crazy, i tell ya.. what is my life coming to?
my parents are thinking of going to Florida for a few days over the Xmas vacation, which would really kick ass. it'd be great to get away and relax and soak up the sun/get tan/etc. i miss the summer... i am definitely happier when its not cold and doesn't get dark out by 5... dammit. another cool thing.... this past summer when we were coming back from our cruise, our return flight got canceled (that was a big mess.. long story) and to make up for it, AirTran gave us all vouchers for a free ticket to fly anywhere we want, except during the blackout periods. my parents are thinking of flying out to Cali in June and visiting some places out there, then maybe taking a cruise from there down to Mexico or something. how much ass would that kick? wow, CA... thatd be awesome :D
what else.. i should be doing work right now. but after all, thats pretty much the story of my life. Xmas break will be great.. i won't have to feel guilty about not doing something. umm yeah... i have Fiona Apple stuck in my head. she is really great.. i've just started to get into her lately. i listened to Get Gone about 9876543210 times on the drive back to school.. heh.
