I have a friend who posted this in her LJ:
Basically, I know someone who really needs to get the hell out of Mobile, sometime in the next few weeks/months. The plan is that he ends up here in New York, where I help juggle the next few balls. Circumstances dictate that he needs to fly direct from New Orleans. Which means he needs to be driven there, in a wheelchair accessible van.
He has a van. It's broken. There's a lack of driver as well. Possibly a need for a flight companion, but that's more an unknown. Ideally, a private flight to NYC would be awesome, but probably unlikely.
Any thoughts on who could help fix and/or drive a van from Mobile to MSY?
This question is also open to anyone who may be inclined to have a lightbulb moment or two.
