Well I'm suffering from writers block right now. Trying to finish a paper which is already late today. It's just so slow going...

So, to take my mind off the paper, I've been doing some "shopping" on Ebay *grins*. See I've decided to sell all my manual camera gear and get some nice stuff for my D50. After finals I'm going to put it up for sale on Ebay. Here's what I'm getting rid off:

My first SLR: Nikon FM2N chrome body - it's a wonderful manual body but its just gathering dust. Will most likely sell between $150-$250

All my manual lenses:
Nikon Nikkor AI 50mm f1.8 - Not really sad to part with it... Could go from $40-$75
Nikon Nikkor AI 135mm f3.5 - Heavy and cumbersome - never wanted to take it with me anywhere... Probably won't be able to make more than $50 on it (though I did see someone trying to sell it for $140 on Ebay! lol... so not going to sell for that price)
Nikon Nikkor AI 28mm f2 - I am really going to be sad parting with this nice fast wide-angle lens - it's just not wide angle on a digital. Though it's a litte beat up (cosmetically, not optically) I'll be making good money on it - at least $200, maybe even up to $300.

What I want to buy (most likely on Ebay):
Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.8 AF- No, its not the same lense I'm selling... this one is Auto-Focus... Manual is not fun on a digital SLR. Will probably cost me $70-$100. It'll be a nice, fast portrait lens for the inside. My 18-50mm DX just isn't fast enough and all my indoor shots must have a flash. I HATE FLASH!
Nikon SB-600 Speedlight Flash - But I know that I'd love this flash. Sadly, the cost is $150-$175. I might have to make a decision between this and the AF 50mm
Nikon AF Nikkor 70-300mm F/4-5.6G -I need a zoom and this baby I can get for $110 at a dealer! Very nice!
Tokina AF DX 12-24mm f4 - I really want a wide-angle again and this lens is way cheaper than the overpriced Nikon 12-24mm f/4G DX Zoom ($1,000!). Usually I stick with the Nikon lenses, but this lens gets great reviews. I would get this before I got my telephoto, but this one is stil expensive for me ($300-400).

All in all, I'll have something nice put together before I get to St. Pete's in August. Now all I need to do is get a laptop. Looking at some cheap Dell's for $500.

Okay, must work on paper if I want to go to the campus party tonight.
