Construction... at 1am
I can sleep through the men yelling, the jack-hammer, the loud humming, the trucks honking and beeping while baking up. What I cannot sleep through is when my entire room shakes like its in the belly of a water pressure cleaner. Valerie and I woke up at the same moment, which I could have assumed, but I was assured because Valerie is very vocal.... if it weren't for her being vocal it would be for the fact that she leaves the t.v on a lot when she is awake. And even if she hadn't left the t.v on, I'm sure she would sneeze soon, and I'd have known she was awake anyway.
I sent her an e-mail:

About the construction that shakes the whole building... or even loud
noises from construction, at 1am. Common or once in a blue moon? And
do you know the name of the city board that we complain to?
