Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. - 1 John 4:7-8
We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. - 1 John 4:13
...his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
- 1 John 5:3
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. -1 John 5:5
Why have I filled up three pages already of scripture from my rescent Bible readings? Because Jesus said:
But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adverseries will be able to resist or contredict. - Luke 21:14-15
I don't worry about what I spoke about yesterday anymore. I know the word, and I will follow it with all my heart. The devil flees at the utterance of the Word of God, so I will be sure to remember it and overcome.
