Good morning morning morning!
I walked for the first time in many months, and thought of fifteen or sixteen gigantic posts on the way. I won't have time for them, alas, although it would be good to finally pen the one on lying or the one in response to the blankety-blanks meme.
I saw another robin redbreast. That means Spring's a-comin'. See, the worms always hide Spring deep in the ground. That's why the Robins come back to pull the worms out, so that they can free Spring! Spring pushes Crocuses and Daffodils up first as it crawls up out of the ground, but then it explodes!
I kissed the first buds I passed. They're swelling and multiplying, close to breaking. I sang a lot. Soon I'll do a post reminding me which songs I want to learn, and collecting the lyrics for that.
But before I read my Friends List and settle my dancing focus, I just want to tell you this.
I have another journal.
http://www.livejournal.com/users/louve It's going to be my Language Workbook journal. So go there if you want to converse with me in French (and eventually, Italian, Spanish, Basque, Afrikaans, whatever else I decide I wanna learn). Louve is French for She-Wolf, so it's possible I'll spend some time talking totem stuff there, too. If you want to read the entries in that LJ but don't speak the languages I'll write in, just go to babelfish or one of the other myriad auto-translation sites. This will allow me to practise without making people feel too left out, hopefully. And maybe it'll get me to look up the goddamn accents, already. Otto told me how and everything, I have no excuse.
Bon Apetit!
