Perfect Day

Since returning home from California at the beginning of April, I've seen little of Tiger. I was all out of emotional energy, yes, I pushed him away. His ADHD also means that when I don't bug him with plans, he naturally spends more time with friends who do. Then he got a dog (temporarily, I hope), and then a second job, a huge time-suck. Now he's changed to sort of having three part-time jobs, so there is a little more free time in theory, but he spends much of it trying hard to find a new living situation.

I'm grateful for every bit of time he manages to spend with me, particularly this month. He even managed to visit two days in a row, and the good chunk of the morning and early afternoon he gave me has transformed me from Suffering Widow Pacing the Widow's Walk to Sparkling Purringly Content Calm Lady.

We didn't do anything new, but everything we did was so classic us. And since we'd had so few opportunities to hang out lately (particularly alone), the whole time was a series of "oh yes, that! I've particularly missed that!"

He appeared with presents from Restaurant Depot, a restaurant supply store I'd love to visit with him if he can sneak me in. A metal strainer (er . . . he uses a fancier word that I can't remember, but it's a fine metal mesh in a cone shape with a handle. If you've seen soup or broth made on a cooking show, chances are they used one of them to strain it.), and a case of Mexican Coke! I have to get more Kraken to go with it, that's been my favorite adult beverage lately.

I ordered him to make me a French omelette with ham and brie while I hopped in the bath. Soon after I'd snarfed it down, we took out the trash/recycling, then headed into the bedroom for Slappy Happy Fun Time. I used to write up every scene, and while I'm glad kinky scenes have become as commonplace as sex or snuggling, I wish I'd recorded more. Scroll on down if you're squicked by BDSM!

I knew I wanted some good fast beats to help me set some intense rhythms, so I went with Black Eyed Peas' The Beginning as the soundtrack. It's one of our standards: nice and upbeat, the songs flow into one another, and he was familiar with some of the singles before we met. He was being a little bratty as I was picking out my toys, so I cuffed him with our soft leather padded cuffs and tied him firmly to the bed by the silk scarves that always hang near the two headboard posts. For a special treat, I used some soft light blue MFP rope to secure his ankles to each footboard post, so he lay facedown, spread-eagle on the bed. Fully naked, blindfolded, and given about a foot of slack on each limb, so his joints wouldn't lock up on me. (You can actually make subs yank out their own arms out of the sockets, if you give them zero slack and they're thrashers.)

I warmed him up with a combination of the first toy I'd ever gotten, a very gentle deerskin flogger with a goat's horn handle, and a lovely short, thuddy brown flogger I'd won as a NELA volunteer. I knew I wanted to have a nice long scene, so I lingered over the warmup to make sure his muscles were supple and the endorphins were primed to flow. Next I thwacked him with a plastic shoehorn (which he hates, I was giggling as he was cursing at me), followed by a big wooden spoon ("You're not allowed in Sur La Table anymore! You come out with such evil toys!"), a rugbeater-style paddle made of leather cord woven into a pretty Celtic knot, a pair of very stingy paracord floggers that he made for me very early on (he far prefers thud over sting, pity he didn't research how to manipulate the cord to the desired effect), a headless fiberglass arrow, an old crop, a blue plastic cane that reminds me a little of a lightsaber, a leather slapper, a toddler-sized baseball bat, a fine long thin paddle, an old wooden hairbrush, a crab mallet, and finally a hame-handled, perfectly balanced flogger that he always adores. Good boys get the hame flogger, I reminded him!

Before the scene was 2/3 over, I was delighted to see he was slipping into subspace, a rarity for him. I'm not sure if it's machismo or contrary tricksterhood or what, but he usually prefers to sass me instead of drifting off to that quiet, serene place. Even when I'm causing him enormous amounts of pain! But today, not only did he hit subspace, he went down to the second level (of three). That's really rare, and he was smiley all afternoon because of it. Naturally, I was high as a kite off of second-level Dommespace.

Aftercare snuggles gradually became sexual touches, as they often do. He fingered me to some silly number of orgasms (like 9 - 12), before and after the PiV. I'm so grateful for that stark contrast to some of my previous lovers: Tiger loves to please me! Never ever heard a whine about being insatiable or complaining that his fingers or tongue were too tired.

We spent some time lazing in bed, talking and playing on our iPod/iPhone. Eventually we got up to put another hour or so into Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. It's our second play-through. (I really must get the second one!) It's so nice to play games with him, because he's hardly ever not in the mood for them. Baldur's Gate is particularly lovely, because he always picks the Dwarf. Thus, I get to make all the short cracks that he gives to me on a regular basis.

I loved getting to reconnect with my Tiger today, and refresh all the memories of what makes us great! Hopefully I can hold onto a piece of this glow until I get to see him again. I still have no idea what we should be for Halloween, but is it worth fretting about until we're sure we're going to at least one party? That's awfully short notice (1 week), but I can theoretically slap together something quick. I'm the one with sewing skillz and free time.

Speaking of, I'm gonna go comb Craigslist for him again. Apartments that meet his financial requests and accept (or don't specifically reject) big dogs are thin on the ground. I'm happy to help with the initial comb-through. I suppose I should check if there's other listings on hipper real estate sites.
