School this Fall
My funding request got approved for me to go back to school this fall. I'm going for Event Management. I get my tuition, parking, books, and a biweekly living expense. I'm a little nervous to go back to school but it's either this or continue to work for a company that has made it clear that we're all expendable...
Apple has been on site all week and I haven't seen one of them. Shows how much they care about the people who actually interact with their customers on a daily basis.. They've only been hanging out with management and even the person who was our site's boss was fired last week.
I'm hoping that this next year will work, I'd love to have my own business.. But even working for an event planning business would be awesome..
Living with Oliver has become so easy it feels sometimes like I've always been with him, but then there are days when I look at him and go "do I know this person?" which is awesome because I sometimes feel like I'm learning a bunch of things I didn't know about him. We've started projects to make the house he bought last year "ours." we've taken on the bathroom and just bought the fixtures for the sink and tub and we both kept agreeing on all decorating decisions.. Thank gods... Or else he'd be decorating a bathroom he hates.. Lol
