Worked two shows of the Jeff Dunham show today. Very very very very funny. Even if both shows were pretty much the same, I still laughed.... a lot.
If you haven't seen him, GO. 90% of the people I worked the show with hadn't heard of him before and now they all want to borrow my dvds they laughed so much! Fantastic stuff.
Most of his stuff he was rehearsing for his upcoming Christmas special that he has to tape. So it was odd to be thinking about "Jingle Bombs" in June, but still effective and funny.
Peanut is still my favorite, but Walter is definitely moving up on my list. Such a funny funny man.
Before the show we got to watch "soundcheck" before the first performance. I say "souncheck" because Jeff literally went up to the mic and said, "check 1, 2 ok we're done." That was it. Although, watching him get each puppet out.... putting Achmed together and the hair on Peanut is something I'll NEVER forget. So cool!
