After April's funeral I went to eat at Denny's with the Jodies and Julina. I got a call from a 703 number but I just figured it was a wrong number. But the first 3 digits were 391, which to me meant it was a long standing number since those three digits haven't been in use for a long time. Weird logic, but it made me think something was up. If you are friends with my roommate Erin or Birdie skip this paragraph Shane was readmitted to Huntsville Hospital after a few days of having a fever and feeling generally ill. He has a hematoma on his spleen (basically there was a ruptured blood vessel that has been leaking and caused a large clot) and he had a lot of fluid in his chest ( Read more... )

On Sunday night around 9PM Tammy and Shane were stopped at an emergency signal on Memorial Parkway and were rear-ended. They both went to the hospital and a couple hours later Tammy was released after being told she has a minor concussion but is otherwise ok. Animals near Zierdt Road are suicidal. I try my best to swerve around the suckers but it seems like every night there's a fox or a cat or an armadillo that scurries out just in time to meet my tires. And I managed to forget to buy books for these classes. Except the huge red thing for Med-surg, but still.
