Help my doggie
Alright, I'm gonna post Kaley's problems here because it's been a couple days and while she's not getting any worse, she doesn't seem any better either, and continuing the way she is will cause her more problems. I tried to look up her symptoms online but only them as an independent problem, not a combination.
- She won't eat. I've tried playing with her food to make it seems different by adding water and heating it up a little, it does nothing.
- She's not drinking. In fact, I can't even get her to the side of the house the food or water is at and bringing them to her only improves the situation if i but the bowl right up to her face.
- She's not leaving her spot on the floor- except for storms, then she'll move to the bathroom. Normally she sleeps on my mom's bed, but she hasn't gone up there in days.
- She won't go outside. She hasn't defecated in days (probably because she's not eating.) Sorry if that was TMI for those just reading this out of curiosity.
- Normally if I go on the balcony she runs to go out there. She won't leave her spot on the other side of the house.
- When I can get her to walk she shows no sign of pain or discomfort.
If anyone has had issues with their dogs that are similar to this please let me know. We've been giving her an antibiotic on the vet's assumption that she has an infection which caused her fever of 106. The fever seems to possibly be gone but the other symptoms haven't changed at all. From the list of symptoms it may look like I'm worrying too much, and I probably am, I recognize that :0) But it's just very weird because while this isn't the first time she's been sick, it's the first time she hasn't acted like Kaley.
