Okay, feeling a bit better

I still feel like crap. But I talked to my mom and Kutz at length, and I emailed both my principal and assistant principal and have a meeting scheduled with them tomorrow about how I can improve my classroom and how they can support me. I told them the truth; that I had been thinking of leaving but that I really don't want to give up, especially ( Read more... )

Hey I know you can do this. You are better then a bunch of ungrateful teens that if they don't wisen up on their own will be worthless adults. Help the ones that want to learn and that you can help. The rest are just filling seats, maybe they will catch on or you'll have them again next year. And that you can rub in their faces " Hello nice to see you for another year John ".

You sound like you have a good focus in mind, just follow thru. Leave at the end of the day and relax. Call me if you need someone to get a cup of coffee with.

It does give you a small benefit. When the rest of us talk about some of the kids today are only good for digging ditches and flipping burgers you can say you at least tried to change it. When you see them in their cardboard box's 20 years from now you can shout out "Your classmates that listened to me have real homes".
