My mom just came and tracked me down here at the library to ask me to come with her to this thing she has to do for her workman's comp case. They want her to come down to the store where she works, and show them exactly how she tripped over the box that she tripped over at her checkstand last week, so they can take pictures. She's been told these people are her advocates, and they work for her, but then her chiropractor told her that they called last week and told the doc that they have a tape of the whole thing, and my mom never tripped, and they wanted the chiropractor to agree to "play ball" with them. Now Ma's all nervous and wants her hand held.
