"I know: a good fonging is on the way."

Watched A Knight's Tale last night. Ma had been after me to watch it for quite awhile. Then this weekend it was mentioned, and I decided what the heck. It was much better than I'd expected. Though the plot was fairly predictable, there were a lot of funny lines and the cast brought a lot of verve to their performances. (Huh-huh, I said "verve.") I even liked the modern music, which was much less obtrusive and annoying than I'd anticipated. Another movie where it seems they just had a lot of fun. I like that.

I played some catch with Nana today instead of taking her for a walk. It seems she more often has difficulties with the first walk of the day, so I'm trying to be slick by replacing it with an indoor activity. Then hopefully when we go for a walk this afternoon, things will run smoothly.

I read another Stephanie Plum mystery by Janet Evanovich. I think that makes six. Or perhaps six hundred. Ms. Evanovich has some seriously hot guys in orbit around her heroine. Sometimes, when I'm particularly uninterested in embracing reality, it makes me wish I hadn't been so quick to leave the security field. Hey, at least I got a lot of exercise back then!
