On the role of military history and the Academy...

So, I think that everyone knows that the dissertation process is a crummy one for most people. Mine was about average I think, but what really sucked was the copy-edit process to ready it for publication - something that I eventually ended up paying a pro (and member of my Leather Family) for help with and still had the school's copy-editor finding ( Read more... )

Ok, so where is a decent place to stay in San Francisco?

The complicating factor being that this is going to be around Folsom - and that I need to be able to get to the LGBT Center on 1800 Market St without too much difficulty.
