I'm reading Dictionary of Angels: Including the Fallen Angels by Gustav Davidson (I've used it for reference in the past but this is my first time reading it from cover to cover), and apparently angels aren't eternal. "Immortal but not eternal", they die. For some reason, finding this out was saddening ( Read more... )

I was suprised and disappointed to find that this text isn't to be found online, and that there is little to be found of Thomas Wolfe and his writing on the internet...

Since this passage was handed out in a philosophy course I attended last year, I've read it myriad times and have tended to carry it with me wherever I go.
