The search for an EENT doc

1:00 p.m. - Went to UST Health Service to have an ear check up. My right ear have been acting wrong since December. After seating for a while, I was diagnosed by this unfriendly doctor who wants an early retirement. Based on his diagnosis, nothing was wrong with my ear. He then asked me if I had dental problems. I told him I had a pasta last year. Then, he nodded and referred me to the school's dentist. I went to the second floor of our slightly dilapitated health office building and searched for room 208 - the dental clinic.

I spotted the room immediately but decided not to open it because there was an "exit" sign on it. I continued walking until finally opening the clinic's entrance door. I was surprised by the three engineering boys who were busy playing over something I didn't know. They were just passing time, I thought. By that time I wondered if I entered the right room. Then turned left and found the nurse who was eating toast. She was rather a large woman with a headband and a pair of eyeglasses. She instructed her patients to fill out the dental forms for themselves. She never stood nor guided the students who were patiently waited to be treated. I understand her condition, given her physical form and her interest in her job, maybe. She just talked and talked with anyone she finds interesting. Finally, it was my turn.

Since I was reffered to go there, I decided to just have a dental check-up. But instead of having only a check-up, I ended up having a pasta treatment. My previous pasta was a disaster so the dentist worked it out. I'm content at the result. It was better than the first one which cost a lot. It's free and yet it's quite good. He then recommended a dental x-ray which costs 600 pesos. If the pain in my ear will continue, then, I'll tell my mom all about that x-ray thing.

As with the connection of the ear and the tooth, I have nothing to say. I'm planning to study about that topic maybe next year. Haha.
