I have literally spent all day designing and creating what I hope to be an utterly fabulous English Composition class. Paperless classroom, flipped, meant to be engaging and lively 'cause it's at eight in the fucking morning.
I will not be paid for any of what I have done today.
I started at around eight this morning and am just finishing up now.
Aside from occasional asides to eat, this is all I've done and I won't get fucking paid for it.
Naturally my students won't appreciate any of it.
In other, more pleasant news, my dad and his wife took me out to a belated birthday dinner at one of the few restaurants in town that has multiple vegan items on the menu, and they got me a birthday cake, since the restaurant also makes vegan desserts sometimes.
And now I have so much cake. :3
