Weather update, for those of you in foreign parts: It's getting rapidly colder and darker round here, it's gloves weather when cycling in to work, and even if I leave bang on 5.30pm it's obviously getting dark. Remember when Dan & I went through the floods to check our new office and another one that we deal with? While we were there we stuck a bit of gaffa tape and polyfilla round the back door of the other office just in case the stream it backed on to flooded any more (although if it had flooded that much there'd be a bigger problem than just the door ( Read more... )

When we went down to look at the new office during the floods I remembered quite how much faster you can get around on a bike (so long as the roads aren't 2' under), and there've been a pair of them sat outside the flat since I moved in.
