Another beautifully illustrated book to tempt you

ETA: SOLD!!!
==================

I just got in a beautifully illustrated edition of the Arabian Nights: Grosset & Dunlap Illustrated Junior Library, 1946. Illustrations by Earle Goodenow.

Here are some samples of what this looks like. I adore this volume!

The cover.

The endpapers!

Just a tiny sample of the interior color illustrations. (There are b&w illustrations throughout, too, sprinkled right into the text!)

Surely someone wants this beauty. I'm pricing it at $30.00 plus shipping (Media Mail = $3.30, Priority = $5.95).

It's in Fine condition, with the exception of a light penciling of a name on the bottom edge of the pages (when closed), which reads "JJ Oelsner" (one guesses the child who owned this originally). Tight binding, crisp pages, slight wear to the spine from handling, no fading or coloration changes. All in all a terrifically preserved book for its age and considering it's a kid's book.

Leave me a comment if you want this baby! Help me pay towards the lien on my house and not lose it! I finally saved up $300 from the donations (so much went towards more books and things like electricity and the house insurance itself, bah!), but we have a total of $6k to pay before we're even with the town. Every penny helps.

BTW, the Youcaring is still going. Link is: http://www.youcaring.com/emergency-fundraiser/help-nancy-editrx-not-lose-her-house-pay-for-medical-exp-/335764. Thanks for passing that along and getting out the word. It needs to go viral or we're going to end up homeless in a very rural area where we have no family, no friends to speak of, and there are NO social services.
