Surgery completed

Just spoke with the surgeon. They finished early and everything went about as smoothly as it could possibly go. Blood loss was under 100 cc, no transfusion needed, and there was no leakage of spinal fluid. They had no surprises and report bones are strong. He expects good surgical recovery and believes she should get relief from a good part of the back pain that has been so awful.
She's in post-surgical recovery area now, waking up slowly. I should be able to see her in half an hour to an hour and she should be moved to a room fairly soon after that. I'll write again later.
