It appears that Josh the Abyssinian caught a mouse. He was playing with it, avidly and enthusiastically, in the dining room. So we left him to it, assuming we could dispose of the mouse when he was done. It's been pretty clear from past experience that even watching Dawn demonstrate how to eat a mouse doesn't mean he'll try to eat it.

The dead mouse has disappeared.

It's been three days now. I wonder where it will turn up.
