Why me God?!!!

So, I promised, and here I am delivering my teachers and other strange things about the school. I think I already mentioned that I have some interesting teachers. I think I have more of an interesting school then that. So, in case you hadn't already heard, CSUCI used to be Camarillo State Mental Hospital. My roommate Sara looked up any background she could find and she found out some very interesting facts.
1) It started out as a place for celebrities to go get "help"
2) Then turned into an actual Mental Hospital that was into experimentation (electro-shock)
3) Then the state shut it down
4) Then it re-opened and focused mainly on children, experiments on children...
5) It became a last resort kind of place, the last stop you had until...death? I don't know.
6) The place is extremely haunted, just last May there was a study done by the ghost hunters
7) It is built on original Chummash Indian land.
Just asking to be scary right? Now take this into account, this place is like a somewhat larger version of Stepford. Not kidding, everyone here has been almost too nice, and everyone is everyone's friend, and everyone knows each other, and everyone is friendly and happy, and willing to help or invite you to something. My roommates and I, being transfer students, thought this quite queer...At first we caulked it up to just being new, and a smaller campus, and coming from campuses of people that hated their jobs. But then, after talking to the about 6 other transfer students that came with us, they all got the same vibe too. Call it ghosts, call it brainwashing, call it Indian curses, but something about this place just isn't right....can't quite put my finger on it either. I think my room is haunted, I heard some whispering and no one was there. But then again it is a campus full of freshmen, and they love to ding dong ditch our room, who's to say they're not whispering sweet nothings into my window?
Oh well. That's it for now, I think I'll go to bed, but if you guys find out anything about this creepy school, just drop me a line. I survived the first week with only two meltdowns so I think I'm going to make it! -Jen;)
