The Rainbow Comes and Goes (Anderson Cooper and Gloria Vanderbilt)

Dec 02, 2016 11:22

Very touching exchange between a mother and son who tries to reconnect with each other after all the trials and tribulations that they have gone through in their lives. Gloria Vanderbilt is very open about her life. At age 92, she recounted the events without any feeling of resentment and opened up to  Anderson with the hope that he would understand the world she had lived in and in the process, understand himself better. A very remarkable memoir. Worth reading it for a glimpse of the life of a person born with a silver spoon.
