Today there were a bunch of kids on my bus who were all picking on this one girl. They were hitting her and calling her names and giving her the cold shoulder at times ... so I told them to leave her alone.

Kid 1 - "Who are you?"

I'm Jess. And I'm pissed. So leave her alone.

Kid 1 - "Why are you pissed?"

Hello, again, Mr. Anonymous!

No, I do NOT believe the Paul Is Dead theory for multiple reasons. To explain all of them would takeforever, but the major one is the plain fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to find someone that LOOKS, SOUNDS, and ACTS like Paul McCartney, and still have him have Paul's incredible talent. IT'S JUST IMPOSSIBLE!!!

In my opinion, people came up with the conpiracy for two reasons:

1. The public and even publiciters LOVE to wreak havoc where possible; all publicity is good publicity.
2. People were upset that the Beatles had stopped touring, but even more upset that it had been THEIR constant screaming that drove them to studio life. People don't want to feel the responsible for something like that; they looked for a scapegoat. Paul, unfortunately, wsa that scapegoat.

I'd be happy to ansewr any questions yo have on the sbject. I love discussing it.

And yes, I love the Shins. Especially their song "New Slang".

How did oyu hear of them? I don't know of anyone else who knows who they are.

hahaha. I've never heard it put that way before. Usually it is "weird" or "CAR-AY-ZEE" or "sickly obsessed" or something of the like.

I take it then that we know each other through some means ... it's nice to know that, for some reason.

If you like the Shins then you should DEFinitely check out Nick Drake. I think you'd like him. He's a genius. His album "Pink Moon" is one of my favorites of all time.

If you are interested, you should also check out Simon and Garfunkle, Pink Floyd (earlier is better, considering that you like the Shins), Belle and Sebastian, the Postal Service, the Brian Jonestown Massacre,and Muse.I could name a thousand more,but I'll stop before i get out of control.
