[ Prologue] [ Chapter 1]

Chapter 2

Jaejoong opened his eyes bit by bit as a trace of light started to enter his eyes and hit the retinas, letting him see his surroundings clearly. Lifting his heavy head was already a problem to him. Therefore when he tried to get up from his lying position, he had failed. It was like a large piece of concrete was placed on his body. Not only that, the headache he was having threatened to kill him.

Jaejoong looked around again. Where is this place? He didn’t remember how he managed to go to any hotel or motel to rent a room. So how could he be here? What happened last night? He kept trying to recall anything but it was in vain as his brain kept putting down his requests. That was why he didn’t realize the presence of another human being in the room, who was staring at him like he came from Mars.
“Are you okay there?” The individual finally made his presence known. However, his simple action of asking a question, made Jaejoong startle on the bed.

Jaejoong looked at the tall man like he had never seen any human before. He gripped the blanket tightly to his chest. Fear was clearly shown on his white porcelain face and maybe that was why the man threw him a small smile, trying to give him comfort perhaps.

“I don’t know which parts of last night's event that you remember but honestly, I didn't touch you so you can relax a bit, “ He nonchalantly walked towards Jaejoong and behaving like they were not strangers, he placed his palm on Jaejoong’s forehead, once again startling the poor Jaejoong with his sudden move. “You feel much better than last night. Did you know you have a fever?”

Jaejoong just shook his head after taking 5 minutes to recompose his mind.

“I-I’m… sorry.”

Seeing Jaejoong like that made the man sigh heavily, “Hey, I’m not mad at you or what, okay. Don’t get me wrong. By the way, my name is Yunho. How about you? What is your name?”

“M-Me?” Jaejoong blinked his eyes for a few times. He hated himself for stuttering. “I-I’m Jaejoong. YoungWoong Jaejoong. Thank you for your help.”

“It’s not a big deal!” Yunho flashed him his 1000 watts smile. “You’re quite light you know? You should eat more.” Yunho commented randomly, clearly missing the blush which crept up on the latter’s cheeks.

“Aah... Y-Yunho..? C-Can I ask you something?”

“Yeah, sure. What is it?”

“How… I mean… why am I here?”

“You mean you don’t remember what happened last night?” Yunho gave quite a quick retort.

A shook of the head was the answer from Jaejoong.

Yunho stared at him for a quick 10 seconds before he opened his mouth, “Well, last night, my friends and I were on our way to Seventh Heaven club you know? We were planning to use the back door instead of the front because it’s kind of cool like that," Yunho laughed in his own before he continued his words as he saw how eager Jaejoong was to know the whole thing. After all, he really needed to remember all those things; it was a part of his memories.

“And there you were. We saw you lying on the street. So, we think we should help you. Since I’m the only who live alone so I brought you here.”

“That’s it?”

Yunho nodded his head. “Yes, that’s all. No worries, you’re in a good condition when we found you. Perhaps you’re just tired therefore you fell asleep.”

It did sound slightly unreasonable but Jaejoong just nodded his head, feeling relieved.

And for the first time, Yunho was taken aback when he saw Jaejoong smile. If Jaejoong was his, he would do anything just to make this man smile like this. Geez! Yunho mentally slapped his head. What is he thinking about? Yunho, are you going insane?

“You’re not from here?” Yunho changed the topic of conversation as he brought his legs near the bed and sat on it, not too far from Jaejoong.

Jaejoong shook his head. “I’m from Gongju.”

“Cool!” Yunho beamed. “I love that place. So, why did you come here? As a matter of fact why are you there, at Seventh Heaven?”

Remembering his purpose of coming there, Jaejoong felt a bit down. He wasn’t sure if Yunho would notice it. He bit his lips hard before he started. “I-I came here to look for my boyfriend.” He stopped and brought his face up, trying to search for any disgust that Yunho might have had but it was none. Indeed to be truth, it seemed that Yunho motivated for him to continue.

Gulping down his saliva, Jaejoong started to open up and tell him everything about that had happened to him, about his long-lost contact-boy friend, and his father. Somehow, Jaejoong had to admit, it felt so good talking to someone about this. Back then, he only had Junsu. But his cousin doesn’t like Jung Jin, so it was slightly hard for him to express his feelings.

“So you want to find him and settle everything between you two?”

A nod answered his question.

Yunho smiled, “I can help you with that.”

“What?” Jaejoong blinked his eyes again. Now he was confused with Yunho. “What do you mean?”

“You’re so lucky that you meet me.” Yunho chuckled, “I’ll go to Seventh Heaven tonight, so if you want, you can tag along. I’ll be with my friends and then we can be your company there. We’ll help you find him. His name is Lee Jung Jin right?”

Jaejoong widened his eyes. He didn’t believe what he heard from a man, whom he just knew, but already was offering him his help, “I-I… I don’t know what to say. Y-You help me a lot already and I just keep troubling you b-but Y-Yunho,” he bit his lips. He didn’t want to act like an ungrateful person, “It’s okay, y-you don’t have to accompany me. I’ll be okay.”

“Are you sure?” Yunho narrowed his eyes. He was worried about this guy. “It’s not a problem to me.” Before he could continue his words, his phone was ringing. Sighing, he took his phone out of his trouser. “Hello, yah Heechul, why do you have to call me at this time?” Yunho whined.

Jaejoong listened carefully to the conversation between his saver and the one who was called ‘HeeChul’. Just by taking note the change in Yunho’s tone, something must be happening. He looked up, seeing Yunho knit his brows in eager.

“Alright, I’ll be there tonight.” He ended his call after few exchanged words before he sighed again. Turning his head, meeting Jaejoong’s eyes and making the latter blush again as a result, he smiled widely. Only Jaejoong didn’t know, it was a fake smile.

“I’m sorry Jaejoong, I want to be your company for tonight but it seems that a matter has come between,” he said playfully. A wink was what it gave for Jaejoong to blush.

“I-It’s okay,” Jaejoong trying to compose himself. Why did he have to blush because of this one person?

Smiling, he called Jaejoong’s name, making the latter to look at him with his pair of doe eyes.

“But I’ll bring you to that club tonight.”

--------

It was not even 5 minutes passed after Yunho went out from the bedroom, leaving Jaejoong to take his bath, when the door bell was ringing. Yunho quirked his eyebrows and it really didn’t take him a long time to figure out who were the people behind that door.

Sighing, he took few steps forward, his hand reaching the door knob before he turned it, and revealed two very familiar people to him. Junki looked annoyed. And well by observing the look on Yoochun’s face, Yunho didn’t think he would want to know the reason behind his sour face.

Without waiting for Yunho to ask them to enter the house, Junki took the first step towards the couch, leaving the still standing Yoochun who was pouting.

“Junki,” Yoochun nagged, ignoring Yunho who already made a face. And when the latter got an annoyed look from Junki, Yunho smiled sheepishly before he went to the kitchen.

“Not again Yoochun, I’ve tried it already and he said he’s not interested with you, so get a life, find another person.” Junki wore his bored expression as he took a magazine and pretended to be reading it.

“But Junki, you didn’t ask him correctly. You asked him in front of everybody so of course he would be shy and give you a false answer instead.”

Junki rolled his eyes, “He already told me that he isn’t interested to be in any relationship right now.”

Before Yoochun was able to say something, Yunho came out with three tins of cold drinks and a large bowl of snacks. The latter didn’t even realize the death glare by Yoochun because of the interruption.

“By the way, we’ll have to go to *Q-vo again tonight.”

Junki heaved his brows, “Why? Do we have any business there again?”

Yunho nodded, “Heechul told me something that I can’t resist knowing it by myself. Although his voice was flat, as Yunho’s friend, Junki knew his friend was angry at something.

“Alright.”

“…and Seventh Heaven too,” continued Yunho with his low voice.

“Seventh Heaven?” Junki repeated, “What else do we have there?”

“There’s none actually,” Yunho replied as his hand whacked the back of Yoochun’s head causing that man to cough, “And don’t try to steal my drink.” He averted his eyes back to Junki, who was still waiting for him to elaborate his answer, “The guy we found last night has something to do there.”

“Which guy?”

“Oh yeah, that beautiful guy,” Yoochun cut, with his full mouth. “How’s he by the way? Is he still here?”

Yunho nodded his head. “He’s here. And his name is YoungWoong Jaejoong.” He looked at both of them with his serious expression, “He’s not from Seoul but Gongju.”

Different replies came from the two which were spoken at the same time. Yoochun with “What’s he doing here?” while Junki with his “Gongju?” But Yunho missed Junki’s low, doubtful voice when the latter uttered “Youngwoong?” to himself.

“Yes, he’s from Gongju.” Yunho confirmed, “He’s here because he wants to search for his lost-contact boyfriend. His cousin told him that he can find him at Seventh Heaven club and that was why he was there last night." Yunho stopped, taking a heavy breath before he continued, “Do you know anyone with the name Lee Jung Jin?”

“I guess that is his boyfriend?” Yoochun asked with confidence in his eyes.

Yunho just nodded.

“I know him.” Junki broke the silence with his typical cool style. “It’s true; he’s quite popular in that club. He always goes there with a different partner every week. They said he only chooses partners who are rich.”

The room was in a silence for a moment.

“He can’t hear us, right?” Yoochun asked as he gulped down his own saliva. When they were talking, he completely forgot about Jaejoong's presence in the apartment.

“Err… all the rooms here are sound proof, no worries!” Yunho showed his straight, pearly white teeth as he made a peace sign using his fingers. That was until he remembered something which made him whack Yoochun’s head again, “Yah! I already told you that since 3 years ago!”

This made Yoochun grin sheepishly. “I forgot Yunho. It’s not my fault. You rarely mention about it.”

“Do I really need to tell you that everytime you come here?”

Yoochun only answered it with his cute, innocence act - a nod. And this resulted in both Yunho and Junki to slap their foreheads. They didn’t believe this was what they got from Yoochun - their very best friend from childhood.

“So, you still are going to take him there Yunho?” When he received a nod from Yunho, he frowned. Junki didn’t believe this. Does it mean Yunho will let Jaejoong get hurt? “But Yunho, he’ll…”

“I know Junki, but that’s the good thing for him. If he knows the true colour of Jung Jin, he wouldn’t put hope on him again.”

Indeed it was true, Junki had to admit it. Jaejoong, even though he just knew him last night, he knew Jaejoong was someone who would devote all his heart into someone who he loves. So perhaps, if they let him knew the truth about Jung Jin, he wouldn’t be hurt that badly.

“I guess, that’s the best for him too.” Junki sighed. To him, Jaejoong was an innocent guy, and he didn’t want Jaejoong to be hurt. He turned his head to see Yoochun, who was surprisingly in his deep thought. Yoochun cares about Jaejoong too? “Yoochun, are you okay?”

A dramatic sigh came from Yoochun. “Junki, Yunho.” He stopped, aware that the attention of his two bestfriends on him now. “Do you think Changmin will come if I ask him?”

Thump! Dup!

Junki and Yunho, both of them shook their head in frustration as the same thought played in their mind.

‘Yoochun, you’re so hopeless.’

------

Yunho easily spotted Kang In and Heechul as soon as the three of them entered the Q-vo Club. He was a bit late as he sent Jaejoong to the Seventh Heaven club first. He wanted to wait with Jaejoong until his bastard boy friend came. But the matter that Hee Chul told him was something that couldn’t be waited. Therefore, though heavy hearted with unease, he left Jaejoong alone there. Yunho then signalled both of Kang In and Heechul to go to a more secluded place, in return, the two men just nodded and strolled to the more isolated location of the club.

Yunho turned his body, meeting Junki’s and Yoochun’s who together shot him questioning looks.

He smiled goofily, “I’ll be back.” He winked.

Junki just sighed as he watched Yunho walked towards the path where Kang In and Heechul previously took. Turning his head to a confused Yoochun, he shrugged. “It seems that he doesn’t want us to know about it.”

“Always like that,” his companion mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. A pout was clearly shown on his face.

Junki just smiled. “What can we do? He is just him.” It was right at the moment when he saw a familiar, tall guy who danced at the middle of the floor with such erotic moves. He was surprised to see him there, especially after the guy was known as a nerd in their university. He cleared his throat, immediately making Yoochun look at him. “I think… you shall go to the dance floor?”

“Nah…” Yoochun uttered boringly, “I don’t have the mood to bring my hips there.”

“Well… I think you shall just force your hips then.”

“And why is that so?” Yoochun raised one of his brows.

“Because the one who you said is made for you, is right now dancing on the dance floor with his sexy, seductive moves. And to be truthful, I can see a man is trying to get into his pants.”

Just hearing those from Junki made Yoochun widen his eyes in terror. Hurriedly, he turned his body around. Exactly as what Junki told him, there was Changmin, dancing without care as other eyes observed him lustfully. He danced like he was lost in his own world. The man didn’t care when a perverted hand rubbed his lower back and made its way to the front of his jeans or when another hand started to make way under his shirt.

Gaping in horror for just a second, he gripped his hand and made it into a fist. His eyes started to burn with anger. Without taking another look at his best friend, he already brought his legs to the dance floor with a real rage throughout his body.

This action left Junki with amusement. He cocked his head sideway as a small, proud smile appeared on his face. He whispered softly as he made his way to the counter of the bar. “He really likes him.”

Once he found a seat on the counter, he smiled gently at the bartender before he gave him their handshake. “Give me Face Eraser, Dong Hae.” He asked right away as he analyzed the surrounding.

“Why are you here again?” Dong Hae asked.

“Yunho. He has something to deal with Heechul,” answered Junki as he sipped his drink that was given by Dong Hae.

“Heechul?” Donghae knitted his brows together, “Oh!” he smiled sheepishly, “That’s why he changed his shift. By the way, Ji Hoon came here last night.”

Junki stopped. “Ji Hoon? Last night? With whom?”

“As usual, he’s with Ji Hwan and Yun Hak. They are always together you know, just like you with Yunho and Yoochun.”

“What did they want?”

“Nothing, they said they just want to hangout.”

“Hangout?” Junki smirked bitterly, “There is no hangout in their dictionary, Dong Hae. There must be a reason why they came here.”

--------

Angrily, Yoochun stepped onto the dance floor. He pushed anyone who was in his way. He didn’t care when those people cursed him. His sole attention was only towards the one person whom he had started to develop feelings for.

He stared at the image in front of him in disgust. What the heck is this? He was beyond control now. He knew it. And if he didn’t leave from his spot at instant, for sure, a catastrophe would happen.

He moved forwards, his hand reaching that one’s hand and taking the latter towards him in a quick move. He saw how surprised the latter was because of his small action but he ignored it. Without saying anything to him, Yoochun pulled Changmin’s wrist, intended to bring him out when Changmin struggled and he, unfortunately, Yoochun had to free Changmin's wrist from his clutch.

“What are you doing?!” Changmin yelled. His furious face already told Yoochun that he was angry at him. But why should he care?

“Taking you away from those perverted men.” He answered calmly, expressionless.

“What?!” Changmin exclaimed, disbelieving, “And who the heck told you to do that?!”

Yoochun didn’t manage to answer as Changmin already went back to the man whom he danced with earlier and seductively grinded their hips together. He didn’t even care when the man started to kiss his neck. He was not like the Shim Changmin who Yoochun knew.

That left Yoochun with his growing anger. He gritted his teeth hard. His hands fisted.

Control Park Yoochun - he kept repeating that but it seemed that his body was not cooperating and seems to be acting on its own. Before he was fully aware what he was doing, he was already standing besides Changmin and the perverted man. He stared at them in hatred.

Again, he took Changmin’s wrist, successfully separating the dancing two.

“What the hell man?” The man stopped Yoochun before he could take Changmin away like before.

The man had made a stupid mistake there. Poor him.

No other emotion was seen in Yoochun's eyes but only hatred and anger were showing. Yoochun turned around and without a second thought; he punched the man in his face. The blasting club music suddenly stopped. People watched the fight between Yoochun and the man. Nobody tried to stop the fight when they saw how unstoppable Yoochun was.

This included Changmin as he stared in awe at the fight in front of him. He saw how aggressive Yoochun was when he delivered another punch on the man’s stomach. He saw how Yoochun was trying to kill the man if he could. He saw how enraged Yoochun was right now. Why? He asked himself. Why is he doing all this?

Junki ran from his seat towards Yoochun. With difficulties, he removed Yoochun from the already injure d man. He asked one of the people there to bring the injured man away.

He faced Yoochun with too many questions in his mind. Yoochun owed him an explanation. But when his eyes caught those eyes, suddenly, his heart was beating faster. Those eyes…He placed his palm on his chest.

“Yoochun,” he called, moved closer, “What’re you doing? Are you insane? You can kill that man!”

Yoochun just hissed, “If he could keep his hands to himself, then all this wouldn’t happen.” He asked monotonously. He wiped blood from his lips using the back of his palm, “Tell Yunho I’m leaving.”

He moved back as he turned his body around. He had barely taken two steps when he spotted Changmin still standing there with his shocked expression. He glared at him. He didn’t want to hate Changmin, heck! He really didn’t want to. But when he remembered what happened between him and that jerk, his blood started to boil again.

He walked passed him but not leaving him like that. As he passed, he took Changmin’s wrist along a bit hard but Changmin didn’t struggle. Too many things played in his mind that he forgot to fight back. He just tagged along, following where Yoochun intended to bring him.

Junki sighed as he watched them leaving. Love… He bit his lips, sure makes people lose their sanity. He breathed in shortly after that before he faced those confused faces surrounding him. He smiled as sweetly as possible.

“Why did you all stop? Continue your dance,” he gave them a playful wink.

Just with that, the loud music returned and people started to dance, forgetting a fight that just happened a while ago.

Junki watched the man, whom Yoochun fought, was already seated down with his friends. He wasn’t supposed to feel this but somehow he was glad Yoochun did what he did to that man. Although Yoochun always acting stupid, it didn't mean the latter didn't know how to fight. It was just that he didn’t like fighting. That was Yoochun. However, if someone made him angry, like tonight, he would have to suffer from his shinagami’s wrath.

+++

Yunho sighed. He hated this. He kicked the empty can lying on the road away. After he had his talk with Heechul and Kang In, he just wanted to strangle the man who was always on his nerves. He later found Junki alone waiting for him. Junki asked questions regarding the meeting with Heechul and Kang In but Yunho only told him that he did not feel like discussing it; it was time for them to head home.

Junki as always wouldn’t push the matter. He would wait.

When he asked about Yoochun, Junki told him he already went home - not feeling well was his reason. He just shrugged his shoulders before they took off.

Thinking back, Yunho still couldn’t believe the man was back already. How long had he been missing from them? Yunho sighed again.

**Flashback**

“Ji Hwan came here last night,” Heechul started. Sure he was nervous but he wouldn’t show it.

“What?!” Yunho widened his eyes. A man who didn’t send any news to him suddenly appeared from nowhere. “He came here?”

Heechul nodded. He turned his head to Kang In. The man just nodded his head, a sign to ask him just go straight to the point. Hurriedly, Heechul took out a piece of folded paper from his trouser’s pocket. “He asked me to give you this.”

Perhaps he was shivered when he took the paper from Heechul. He unfolded it and read the still unchanged handwriting on it.

Hey Yunho! Whassup dude?

How are you? By the way, I’m back already as you can see. It’s so unfortunate to miss you here. Let’s just say that I come here because of my previous offer. You still remember it don’t you? I’ll come to your house, for a visit, of course. When? I don’t have any idea.

I know you miss me. Lol!

***End of flashback***

The man who broke his trust finally returned. Without any sense of guilt over the things that he had done to him, telling him he will visit him. What kind of man is he?! Yunho grunted. His feet stepped out of the lift, walking towards his apartment.

When he looked up, he saw a man crouching in front of his door. His feet were brought closer to his chest as he wrapped his arms around them. He looked down. Yunho wasn’t sure who he was. Is he Ji Hwan? But Ji Hwan is taller and that man looks quite short.

Yunho moved forward again until he clearly saw the latter. “Jaejoong?”
