*pours you some festive apple cider* Yay life! Thanks for writing for me! This is my first yuletide and I am very, very excited! I promise I am not a hater! I love my fandoms and love that you're taking some time to write. I'm sure I will love my sparkly Yuletime gift!
In terms of what I like? Daddy issues! Protecting the people you love! Angst! Good people making everything alright again! Backstory! Hugs! gen, canon relationships or some vanilla-flavored M/M slash (And I want you to like the fic, too, so choose the things you like the best and ignore the things you're not as interested in!)
What I don't like: Rape, Explicit Sex
Jeremiah (Gen or Jeremiah/Marcus or Jeremiah/Michelle)
Okay, so Jeremiah is a show made for my particular interests. I'd love your thoughts on how a bunch of kids could have raised themselves up whatever way they could and still kept their essential humanity. I also love the mixture of Hero and Anti-hero in Jeremiah, and how he struggles to be a good man even though he's so angry about everything that's happened to his world. Devon and Jeremiah having a huge fight and then making up would make me incredibly happy. I also see Marcus as kind of an older brother to Jeremiah and would love a yulegift in which they were stuck in a hairy situation together (cue the bickering...cue something more?). I loved Michelle from "Mother of Invention" if you wanted to do something romantic. I'm not married to one idea and I swear I'll love whatever you chose to focus on!
Terra Nova (Gen or optional Josh/Skye)
Devoted father Jim contending with his own inner watchful police officer for the win! I like it when they have to fight the dinosaurs AND solve a crime AND be watchful parents all at the same time. Something where Skye and Josh play a role would definitely work for me. Love it when Jim uses his detective skills on his own offspring. Let's see... I don't hate any of the characters, but stick pretty close to canon in this fandom. I think it's got lots of fun elements to mix and match. Could go for goofy or angsty!
Inspector Lewis (gen)
Lewis is my absolute favorite Inspector. The snark between Lewis and Hathaway is a must. I would maybe like for Hathaway to be going through some kind of hard time and Lewis to give him both sage advice and a kick in the pants. I like that Hathaway is driven and observant and cares a lot about what Lewis thinks. Lewis is also driven with a good dose of smarts and irreverence. Some backstory? Some murder? All to the good!
