He looked hesitant and determined all at once; she wanted to reach out and give him a reassuring pat, but wasn't sure how it would be received. In the end, she just moved back, leaving the door open as she moved further into the room. It was tidy for the most part, with the exception of the still-rumpled bed. Sniper was the one who cared if it was made, but since she'd still been in bed when he left, it meant the bed was staying unmade today.
"Have a seat," she said, motioning towards the table. "I was just making tea--I'll get you a cup." Because as small as Want had thought their argument had been, Throne could still feel how bad it had made him felt -- her refusal to listen or even continue the conversation like some kind of rejection. And as bad as Bastet's pulling away had made him feel, Throne felt even worse about the fact that he'd been the one who'd caused it.

"Thanks," he said quietly, knowing already that, even though tea wasn't really his thing, he would force himself to drink it anyways. "You, uh, you sleep okay?"
Stupid question.

Instead of returning to her seat across from him, she moved one seat over so she was sitting next to him, her legs folded in front of her. She decided to take the chance--if he pulled away, he pulled away.
Bastet lifted her hand, placing it on his head and threading her fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry I upset you." She could say that with complete honesty, even if they wound up ultimately disagreeing on other things.
