Twisting in her seat quickly, she looked to see who it was.
Long, white hair, paired with the voice... it had been a long time since she had spoken with Serenity, and even longer since she had seen her in person, but she still remembered what her friend had looked like. She also remembered that Seren had come back after a long time, and had lost all her memories of Edensphere.
Which meant she no longer remembered they had been friends.
Rather than jumping to her feet and offering to make Rauxes tea, Fred rose cautiously. Since she didn't know they had been friends, there was no reason for the other woman to be in her house. "How did you get in here?" The question was more curious than angry. The doors were locked, the windows shut; she had heard no sound of forced entry.
Whatever Rauxes answer was, it should prove entertaining.

She pointed in a random direction to indicate 'away from here.' "I'd been on Wellspring Island, you see... and I managed to get into the air, but then..." Her finger trailed to the wall she had mysteriously not created a hole in. "Somehow I must have..." She was just as perplexed as the woman at this. "Maybe triggered a magical defense mechanism, perhaps?"

Well, perhaps Rauxes and she were the first unfortunates to experience it.
She sighed, in exasperation at the Tree more than anything else. "Perhaps so, but it is far more likely to be the Tree's doing. You are in the Residential area, by the by, section three to be precise." She paused for a moment, then picked up a damp, slightly dirty, rag, and used it to wipe the worst of the grime off her hands, briskly. "...I suppose that as long as you are here, the least I can do is offer you some tea. Would you care for some?"

She didn't feel comfortable seating herself, not knowing where they'd be taking tea.

"You may either sit here, on the couch, or at the kitchen table. Wherever you might be most comfortable." Fred gestured toward both as she spoke, already moving toward the kitchen to put on the kettle.
