Summary: An accidental power recovery reunites the former friends.

Rauxes stared across the vast emptiness between the islands of The City Without Walls. The quiet beauty of Wellspring Island and Serenity was being interrupted by barbed wire and other such jarring metal objects. From her vantage point, she recalled how she and Fayth had discovered that one simply 'floated' if they fell into that vastness.
"How I wish you were still here, Fayth - you could have shared in my wonderful discovery. I still know precious little about who I'm meant to be, but now I know how important 'Serenity' really is. It's a start." She tugged at her rainbow-colored, oddly-designed clothing. "I wonder what you would've made of all this, too."
Then, Rauxes looked out again, squinting, and saw one of the other islands in the distance. Floating... almost as if buoyed in water... could one swim that distance, through the air?
There was no fear as she quickly back-stepped; she knew the worst that could happen would be the same cyclical floating pattern as before. So, she got a running start and tried to propel herself horizontally, as if to begin swimming through the air-
And was suddenly tumbling into a not-very-graceful kneeling position as her feet hit ground.
"Where am I-" She stood up immediately, spinning to take in her surroundings. Her white braid landed against her back just as she saw the other person in the room. Her eyes narrowed in obvious confusion. "Who..."
