Summary: Daitou and Hawk meet for a spar, and some long-held-off conversation
It had been a while since Daitou had a chance to see Hawk in person - not since the housewarming party, probably. He knew the other man had encountered the black dragon, looking back at the journal entries as he waited in Wellspring - perhaps that was why Hawk had asked to spar. Thankfully his ribs seemed more or less healed, now, and he'd been able to resume showing up at the Dojo most evenings. Right now, he was just warming up, running through series of kata alone, with a practice blade. He was dressed in his usual practice clothes - hakama over his kimono, bare feet, and hair pulled back off his neck. It felt good to be able to move freely, without pain again, to breath deeply and easily.
