Chief was rushing through the streets with a small case containing the few belonging he had gotten since arriving. Every now and then he would cast worried looks to the sky. Those clouds foretold quite the violent weather event.

As far as he remembered this was his first hurricane. Yet a part of him seemed to know just how lethal these things could be. For a moment he wondered if Chivalry had already found a shelter. Well knowing him he probably did. Chief had to focus on his own safety now.

Crystal was also running as fast as she can, not being able to tell what was going on. She looked around with an extremely worried look on her face while still running. As if the questions in her mind and her own troubles weren't already enough...

The faces of people, she didn't know anything about any of them. From what she could say, this wasn't even her own world. She was lost in her own loneliness as she ran across the streets. Even that hurricane wasn't that big of a problem for her now. Not that she had any place to stay anyway.

Chief had just turned a corner when he spotted a girl apparently running the opposite way of the elevator. Where on earth was she going? Chief frowned and looked at all the other stragglers rushing for the elevator. As he eyed her retreating back he felt dizzy. That same sense of vertigo he experienced when he met Gray.

"What the-" he muttered, holding his hand to his face to make the view stop swaying as much. But now there was something else. Some impossible to explain urge to stop that person from going any further. Why? He shook his head and looked again. If he was going to do something he had better do it quickly.

Chief looked up at the clouds. It looked like the main even would start any minute now. Damn it all. There's no way he could leave a girl run into this storm even if she was someone he knew or not.

With that decision made, Chief started after the girl.

"Hey! Miss! You're going the wrong way! Wait a moment!!" Chief called out when he got closer.

Crystal suddenly stopped when she heard a voice that was clearly calling for her. At that moment, she stopped abruptly and before she could turn to look at the person who was calling, a sudden pain hit her on the head. The girl immediately took her head between her hands, closing her eyes at the same time.

The voice, it was too familiar, it was so painfully familiar that it hurt. She could remember this voice from her dream. Her whole body shivered suddenly. Then, the girl finally got the courage to turn around to face the owner of the voice.

Her eyes narrowed. No, she still couldn't remember this face. But she was sure that his voice was familiar. With desperate eyes, the girl looked at the man who was much taller than her.

"Who might you be?" she asked with a soft and weak voice, still standing where she was.

When she looked up at him with those eyes, he felt something break both in his mind and in his heart. And suddenly his eyes grew blurred as tears came without his knowing or permission. It was the voice. So weak and soft yet, yet also painful to hear. Painful in ways surpassing the physical.

"I..." his voice was locked in his throat and he had to swallow once to get it clear again. Something inside......ached. He had no time for this though. He had to answer and then get this girl to safety. He wiped his tears with his hand quickly before he answered.

"I don't know my old name but for now I go by the name of Chief" The man introduced himself

Crystal looked at him for a moment and watched that person's face. For a while, her face became expressionless as if to indicate that she didn't know what to feel. That hurricane was forgotten at that time. She walked towards that man slowly, eying his reactions closely as she did so.

"I am Crystal. It's a pleasure to meet you."

It felt stupid to introduce herself to that person. It was like meeting someone she had already known. When she was close enough to see the tears on the man's face, she suddenly stopped.

"Are you alright?" Worry was clearly evident in her voice.

Not knowing what she was doing, Crystal's hand was moving up towards Chief's face to touch his cheel softly. She began to sweep his tears with her thumb softly. She didn't even know why she was doing this. "You are strange." she said, smiling subtly.

Hearing his question, the girl blinked a few times. "Oh, no. I don't even know anyone here." she said, still smiling. Her hand was still on his cheek, staying there and not moving.

Crystal continued stroking his cheek before finally stopping and giving him a warm smile. "Thank you." she said softly, with a low voice. Then, she noticed that her hand was still on his cheek. She was shocked, but not at what she did. Instead, she was shocked at how it didn't feel wrong or weird for her to touch him like that. Why did he cry? Why did she feel so pained at seeing him like that? It was like her body had moved on its own. But, it didn't feel wrong one bit.

"Are you... are you living here?" she asked curiously, before they started walking again.

If it weren't for the hurricane threatening to touch down soon, Chief would have liked nothing more than to stay like that. It should have been a startling thought. But it wasn't. They had just met yet for some reason it didn't FEEL like that at all.

He blinked at the question as it brought him out of contemplation. Good they were walking again. This time in the right direction.

"If you mean if i lived in the area then yes I have been here for a short while. But I am a fairly new arrival to this place myself." Chief answered with a small smile as he held one arm behind the girl's back. Again something his body did on its own.

"Is that so?" she asked with a subtle smile. His hand on her back felt rather soothing and nice. It felt like they were always like this. Then, she shook her head slowly, wondering if she had known this person or not. For some reason, she wanted to stick around him.

"I hope you know where we are going." she said with a small chuckle as they were walking. Her shoulder-length hair was waving madly because of the wind, making it hard to look in front of her harder. She wondered if he did have a home or a place to go but since he was new, there was no way for that, right?

Chief had to smile softly at that. Funny how they could joke at a time like this.

"I do. There is an evacuation camp in the Wilderness level. Everyone headed to the elevator and that is where we are going as well. Though we may have to hurry a bit" Chief tossed a concerned gaze behind him out of the corner of his eye. Those clouds looked ready to let loose on the city soon.

Crystal had to smile even wider in return. It made her feel really warm inside, when she saw Chief smiling. She didn't even think about the reason for that, anymore. For some reason, even when running from a hurricane, she felt slightly happy. She couldn't help it.

"Oh well, I don't know anything about this place yet so, I hope I won't be a burden to you." she said. She was a bit embarrassed about her state and she just hoped that she didn't trouble him too much. She even wondered why he was dragging her along with him, without expecting anything from her. The even more strange thing was, her following him around.

Nonsense. There's no way you could be a burden to me,Crystal" Chief answered nonchalantly before really thinking what he was saying. He didn't feel the need to. It was odd and would he have the time to think about it, he would definitely find it even stranger.

Still all that was on his mind was to get himself and Crystal to the evacuation camp. For some reason he even felt he could force his way through. But the impulse was small and in the back of his head. But it WAS there.

Crystal's eyes widened at her words before she smiled even more widely. Finally, she grabbed one of is arms softly and began running with him. It was her turn to drag him with her, it seemed. "Let's go fast." she said cheerfully. She didn't hnow why but his words made her cheer up definitely.

It was same, being next to Chief. He was there to protect her, she could feel it. She didn't even feel the need to ask why. She didn't even need to think.
