Summary: Genius, in the alcoholic Adelle's body, is experiencing what are, unbeknownst to him, withdrawal symptoms. Simon, stuck in Jayne's body, tries his best to find out what's going on and help. Any godmodding of Genius and Qi's positions is done with mun permission.

It had been a slow day at the clinic, and Simon had spent most of it absorbed in paperwork that he really needed to get caught up on, ignoring his journal. He felt so ungainly in this unfamiliar body, with the face of a man he got vague bad feelings from, a man he'd seen and heard in several of his memories, a man whom he still had no idea of his relationship to.
Simon also had to be careful which patient files he looked at; some of them contained extensive references to the mysterious event from last October, the missing piece that had been erased from his Sphere memories when he'd died. Most of the words were blurred, but try to make sense of them, stare at them for too long, think about them and all the possibilities of what had happened and his vision would begin to fade...
However, he could not dwell on it, as Kagerou had come bustling in to alert him that Genius had taken ill. Still feeling oddly out-of-place in his new body, Simon prepped an exam room and went to wait for him to be brought in.
