Summary: Crimson arrives in Edensphere, and someone is there to greet him!

Dash shuffled a deck of cards, Cross's old deck, and stared at the ceiling of the Hall. His mind was blank, and his journal was at hand--it always was. He just couldn't really bring himself to read it or reply. Everyone had to work though, and with his appetite he couldn't afford to skip out on greeting duty. Maybe he should look for a new roommate--that'd help with the cost of bills anyway.
He didn't really want to think about it, so he flipped the cards in his fingers, absently practicing the sleight-of-hand Cross had taught him. If nothing else he could keep his skills sharp.
Maybe he should start reading--Ran had always pushed those books with big words on him. It couldn't hurt to find a new hobby.
His thoughts scattered as one of the cocoons twitched, heart stopping a moment in fear or hope--What if it was his brother, come back? Or Cross? Or Ran? Or Throne? Or Seven--or maybe it was that pony he'd always wanted. While he was wishing, maybe he could also wish for a sweet set of wheels and a super model. He picked up a towel and clothes, leaving the rest of the newborn items on the table.
