Cross savored the last of a cookie as he watched for Rabbit. He remembered the fourth floor he'd been stuck on this time while he waited. It fit the descriptions he and Rabbit had given before. Something about the white city and the rooms leading from one strange place to another tugged at his memory. Without a memory crystal he wouldn't know why or what for. As frustrating as it was, he was fine with that. He'd finally come to grips with everything from the loss of friends to the situations that forced the Sphere residents to flee for their lives.
He didn't mind the shadow in his reflection anymore it wasn't like he could remove it. Wing climbed up onto his shoulder as he reached for a sandwich on his plate. All he had to do was wait for his friend.
