Just Dance [The Bar's Grand Re-OPENing!]
Characters: Smoke, Grift, Cheers, possibly Goodbye, and OPEN to anyone else coming to the bar's grand re-opening /o/
Date/Time: Monday Jan 4th early evening until Tuesday Jan 5th early morning
Location: Smoke's Bar (Bazaar Island, 2nd Level), now open! [Link here for map reference!]
Rating: PG13 for pub humor, drinks all around, and general raucousness (or so I assume will happen at some point XD )
Summary: So long after the fires destroyed Smoke's first bar, and a little over a year after he opened it the first time, the bar is open once again - and better than ever!

Smoke was so happy that the Wilderness had turned into something resembling a city again. The first time he'd completed the bar, it was Vegas, and now ... well Smoke wasn't sure he'd ever seen anything like it, but Bastet called it a "mall". Whatever, it was fucking awesome to just grab stuff and haul it back to the bar. That was the last little thing he needed - after so long clearing out, then the rebuilding on top of that. It took a little bit longer, but with Mirror helping him with the layout -- it actually looked a LOT better in his opinion now. It would function better as a tavern first, and a dance club second, plus the amped up entertainment value.
Smoke recalled a year ago when he'd first opened the place. He remembered all of the hard work it took and he mentally thanked Sniper once again for pushing him at the very end and Ran at the beginning. He'd replaced the outside with redwood again or wood painted red with a smattering of unfinished wood for contrast.
Everything inside was dark wood panelling and there was one sign indoors behind the bar, the one that he'd wiped down for hours because Clé had made it for him:
It was hung over the new Drink Menu he'd made not long before the bar burnt down in the massive fire that swept the Sphere - he noted a few additions would have to be made when the creativity struck him. As it was nearing dusk, Smoke decided to get dressed; because of the occasion, he chose to keep his hair down just like last time and put it up later if need be. He dressed up more this time, wearing a black suit jacket over a red shirt and tight-fitting pants that he'd found in the mall. He had the jacket buttoned for now, but be didn't expect it to stay that way for long. Just like last year, it'd be the hottest venue in the Sphere so long as he lived.
He hesitated just a little bit. With everything going on, he and Ghost hadn't been able to have another chat. Opening the bar again without him just... didn't feel right. He'd dealt with losing Kanin and Alexi as workers, even if Alexi did come by every so often still. He'd dealt with losing Trust and Takkun and Fallen. But without Ghost... Smoke sighed. They couldn't have just been fuckbuddies, Smoke decided, not if they'd lasted so long as Aurora claimed. Whatever 'boyfriends' meant, it had the word 'friend' in there, so Smoke clung to the hope that they'd been good friends as well. Thus, he hoped they could at least be friends again. Maybe this would help.
The redhead took a deep breath, threw open the doors, and scribbled a note in the journals. Smoke's was on the map again.

[[OOC: Floor 1's new layout involves: a storage room in the northwest corner; Smoke's crash space on the west side of the building (for employees as a break room, and drunk patrons to spend the night, or guests of the owner ♥). The BAR itself just on the other side of the wall of the Crash Zone; the coatroom just south of the bar's far wall; the entrance is on the south side of the building and where Tickets are sold for special events. Next to that booth are the bathrooms in the southeast corner (female o+ and male o-> ). In the center of it all was the Primary Dance Floor, but now it has become tables for eating and hanging out; north of that is the Downstairs Seating for people to eat or dance around (or on top of the tables). On the north end of the stage is where the Karaoke machine was moved, complete with equipment originally stolen from Vegas, and repaired by Alchemy - a lot of other things that had come from Vegas have been replaced with stuff that came out of the Mall of America. On the south wall are stairs leading up to the 2nd floor and next to that is the Stage for special events with a big flat screen TV that is covered with curtains unless being used, but otherwise the Stage is also available for people to dance on normally; the speakers mentioned are about 4 feet tall and can thus be danced on top of by particularly adventurous characters. The new addition is a full kitchen attached to the north wall with access to the Storage Room.
Floor 2's layout is less complex and mainly divided into four corners. The northwest corner is where the Disc Jockey (DJ) equipment is set up to provide music to the whole establishment; next to that are smaller bathrooms for women (o+) and men (o->), as well as a secondary (smaller) bar and the new dance floor. This is where Alexi's Dance Pole has been moved. ♥ Along the west side are two pool tables and two tables for cards (this is where Smoke's mahjongg set is placed every night); in the southeast corner are the comfortable "make-out" chairs or love-seats; the stairs to the first floor are along the east wall. In the northeast corner is additional cushy seating (tables and chairs for eating and sitting). The center opens to the first floor and there is a railing to prevent most mishaps; it is there that lighting has been attached to spill down onto the first floor with things like disco balls and other decorations for special events.]]
