Being back on Hatchery duty was a little weird for Blood, considering that it hasn't been all that long since she had re-hatched herself. Of course, it was where she was assigned today, with Sky, and her rather grumpy peacock. It was bad enough that her breakfast had ended up being a piece of fruit because the dumb birdie had pecked at her hand until she put down the meat bun, but the fact that she could feel a beak combing through her hair was getting really annoying.
In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that she was trying really hard not to get attacked by those wings again, Blood would definitely be swatting at the peacock by now. Instead, her reaitsu was slowly roiling just under the surface as she stared at the cocoons in the room willing something to happen. It wasn't that she didn't like being here with Sky, more like she wanted something, anything really, to distract her from the damn peacock following her around.
When she saw one of the cocoons seem to wiggle somewhat, she pointed to it as she called out to Sky. She wasn't sure, at first, if she had made it happen or if someone was inside, but she didn't want to say too much just in case. "Cloudy-hedgehog, I think we got a live one!"
