Despite her best intentions, despite the constant reminders of how important it was to stay in contact with those she cared for, Bastet all too often found herself going longer than she'd like without seeing certain people. She'd seen Koi on occasion, but hadn't really had the chance to just sit down and talk with him. So once off her shift, she headed down to the Marketplace, meaning to see if he was available at the teahouse. With any luck, business would be slow enough that he'd have a chance to talk.
It was nice out today, a faint breeze brushing over her as she made her way through the crowd. She entered the teahouse, raising a hand in greeting to the owner before scanning the room for her friend.
