Well, he had a date lined up soon, he hoped. Blood had moved in for the time being, but hopefully that wouldn't put a damper on his plans. N-not that he had any plans! Well, okay, maybe he had hopes, but that was perfectly normal. Besides, Kazahana seemed happy enough with him. That was good.
He shook his head. Okay, that was enough of that. He was supposed to be on duty, anyway...and that meant he was supposed to focus. Wright, focus. He furrowed his brow. Besides, there could be newborns showing up soon. They were a week past due, actually, if last month's log book indicated anything. Why was that, anyway? Well, it was probably best to ask Justice about it later. He was sure they could figure it out, together.
A sound stopped him before he launched off on another thought. Was that? He heard the now-familiar squelch as one of the cocoons opened, and he grabbed one of the bundles, before he was stopped by a second sound. Two of them? Christ, great. He sighed, grabbing a second bundle.
Well, at least work had stopped being boring.
